Thankful for … #10

In the month of June I’m going to post everyday something I’m thankful for.

My Gramps.

For years I thought he was the glue that held us all together but upon his death I learned my gran was really the glue. My gramps was more of the spirt of the family, lively and jovial, he is sadly missed to this day. He took me to town every day for a happy meal. We lived 15 miles away and to a child that was forever. And to get such a treat every day, I was a princess. I was spoiled, that’s what I was.

About April Dawn Parker

I am mainly a stay at home mom. I have two daughters that keep me on the rode from activity to activity. Some recent endeavors with family have awaken my literary voice so I decided there is no time like the present and embarked on the adventure of making a few books with my six year old, Brianna.
